I'm posting something we all figured was true, but hoped it wasn't.

Ferrets can get the H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu). Now there is a report Cat's can also catch it.

Two ferrets have be reported and tested to have the Swine Flu. One is Oregon, and as far as we know he is still alive. Another in Nebraska who has died. Here is a Link to a Video of the news report.

Hey Guys!

It is something that we must all be aware of. We need to us common sense and when we are ill DO NOT CUDDLE WITH OUR BABIES. It is call tough love !!! I think it is toughest on our end! LOL smile

FYI The H1N1 has also mutated and there have been a case or two of CATS getting it. Be very careful and if they start to get sniffles TAKE THEM TO THE VET!!!
