Directions:
Come down the I-45. The new Nasa Pkwy is still under construction. Take Exit 23 FM-518/League City. Turn Left onto W Main St/FM 518. Go Past Hwy 3. Just over the railroad track turn Right on Park Ave. Turn Left onto E Wilkins St. League City Elementary is on the Right Find a Parking Place. They haven't told us where we will be. The Habitat where we were last year is not open. To locate our area look for a Registration Table, last year it was in the cafeteria. Or you could call us 832-654-0708. We will be able to tell you where we will be located.

This is an outdoor event. It should be cool but if it is Hot bring, a Spray Bottle, Ice Pack, Ice Pack Cover, a Thin Cloth, and if you have one a Battery Operated Fan, all for keeping the ferrets cool. We will have some of each. We will have some supplies. Don't forget a chair for you.

This year dress up in bandannas and cowboy hats because we are going Western!
Texas/western theme with the tag line.....Git a home little doggies.....kitties......ferrets.....birds.....horses....etc.
plan your cage decorations and your Dress around this. Be sure to dress up your pets and enter in the 2009 PetFest Costume Contest!

This will be a free event to the public and most shops are pet-friendly. Parking will be $3.00 per car (with $1.00 of the parking donated to rescue drawing). All animals must be either crated, in x-pens or leashed at all times

If we Do Not have a copy Please bring a Copy of your Rabies Certificate and documentation your ferret has had Distemper Vaccination or your Vet's Waver. Also please read Education Day GuideLines on the front page of the Message Board.

Shelly the and Owner of Different Strokes Pet Boutique and PetFest Coordinator allows us to use her patio for PetFest.
It doesn't get much use during the year. It has leaves, dust, and other things that just need to be picked and swept up, some of the patio equipment just needs to moved around to make room for the ferrets. If we do this on Saturday it saves set up time for PetFest. If you are Free Saturday we could use a little help. Bring a Broom and some rags for dusting. With help it should only take us about an hour.
